What exactly is the QuickSeat? The QuickSeat is a compact foldable stool that doubles as a functional shoulder bag. You carry it like a bag all day — phone, keys, and essentials in the pockets — and when you need a seat, it unfolds and locks into a stable stool in about three seconds. It is designed for anyone who spends long hours at outdoor events, festivals, matches, markets, hiking trails, fishing spots, or anywhere seating is limited or nonexistent.
How is it different from a regular folding stool? A regular folding stool is a separate item you have to remember to bring, carry separately, and decide whether it is worth the extra bulk. Most people leave it in the car. The QuickSeat removes that decision entirely because it is already your bag. You are not carrying extra — you are carrying smarter.
What colours does it come in? The QuickSeat is available in Khaki, Grey, Black, Green, and Red.
What are the dimensions? Folded: 12.6 x 5.5 x 1.6 inches — compact enough to carry in one hand or sling over a shoulder. Open: 12.6 x 12.2 x 11 inches — a proper, full-sized seat with enough room to sit comfortably for extended periods.
How much does it weigh? Just over one pound (1.6Lbs - 0.64Kg) including the carry case. After the first few outings you stop noticing it is there.
SETUP AND USE
How quickly does it set up? Three seconds once you have done it a couple of times. Unzip the bag, the frame drops open, and the locking mechanism clicks into place automatically. No assembly required. No tools. No guesswork. Unfold, lock, sit.
Do I need both hands to set it up? Yes. You can set it up and collapse it with one hand once you are familiar with the mechanism, but Both hands is recommended. Most people have it figured out within the first two uses.
Can it be adjusted for different heights? Yes. The QuickSeat has multiple height positions, making it comfortable for both children and adults. You can customise the height depending on the terrain and your preference.
Is it comfortable for extended sitting? Yes. The seat is made from breathable 600D Oxford fabric stretched across a reinforced frame, which distributes weight evenly. It is designed for long days outdoors, not just a quick rest. Most users report sitting comfortably for several hours at a stretch.
Can I use it on uneven ground?
Yes. The reinforced structural rings lock under compression, meaning the more weight you apply, the more stable the frame becomes. It performs well on grass, gravel, dirt, wooden floors, and most everyday outdoor surfaces. As with any portable stool, performance on very soft waterlogged mud may vary.
Can I use it indoors?
Yes. It works on any flat or semi-flat surface. Beyond outdoor use, many people keep one in the boot of their car for unexpected waits, at the office for a footrest, or at home as an extra seat when you need one.
WEIGHT AND DURABILITY
What is the maximum weight capacity? The QuickSeat supports up to 120kg (260lbs). The frame is built with reinforced steel joints and structural rings rated to handle regular use at full capacity.
Will the frame bend or buckle over time?
No. The carbon steel frame is designed for repeated folding and unfolding across seasons of outdoor use without losing structural integrity. The locking joints are reinforced specifically to handle compression load rather than flex under it.
Is the fabric waterproof?
The 600D Oxford fabric has a waterproof coating that protects against light rain and damp ground. It is not designed for full submersion but will handle typical outdoor conditions without issue.
Will the fabric tear with regular use?
The 600D Oxford weave is wear-resistant and built for repeated outdoor use. It will not tear under normal conditions. If you notice any manufacturing defect in the fabric on arrival, contact us immediately and we will replace it. No questions Asked.
How do I clean it?
Wipe down with a damp cloth for everyday dirt and mud. For heavier soiling, hand wash the fabric with mild soap and allow to air dry before folding back into the bag. Do not machine wash.
THE BAG FUNCTION
Does the bag actually work as a proper bag?
Yes. When folded, the QuickSeat has exterior mesh pockets and an adjustable shoulder strap. It carries your phone, keys, wallet, a water bottle, and the everyday essentials you would carry to an outdoor event. It is not designed to replace a large bag but it comfortably replaces a small shoulder bag or day bag.
Will the items in the pockets get in the way when I unfold it into a stool?
The pockets sit on the exterior of the frame when unfolded, hanging at the side of the seat. Your items stay accessible and do not interfere with the seating surface. Many users keep their phone and snacks in the pockets while sitting.
Is the shoulder strap adjustable?
Yes. The strap adjusts to fit across the shoulder or across the body depending on preference.

Where do you ship to?
We currently ship to the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.
How long will delivery take?
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery is 7–12 business days from dispatch. You will receive a tracking confirmation email as soon as your order ships.
Is shipping free?
Free shipping on all orders over $50. Orders under $50 ship at a flat rate of $5.99.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
It depends on where you are ordering from.
United Kingdom — No import duties apply. Your order ships clean.
Australia and New Zealand — Most individual orders fall below the local duty-free threshold and arrive without customs charges. GST may apply depending on your country's rules.
United States — US customs now requires duties on all incoming shipments regardless of order value. You may be contacted by the carrier to pay a small duty fee before delivery.
Canada — Standard import duties on seating and furniture products may apply. These are typically modest and collected by the carrier on delivery.
We have no control over customs charges once a shipment crosses a border. If you have questions about your specific situation, we recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order is dispatched.
RETURNS AND GUARANTEE
What is your returns policy?
If you are not satisfied with your QuickSeat for any reason, you can return it within 60 days of delivery for a full refund. The product must be returned in clean, undamaged condition. What if my QuickSeat arrives damaged or faulty?
In the unlikely event your QuickSeat arrives with a manufacturing defect, contact us at support@splendrix.com with your order number and a photo of the damage or issue.
We will send a replacement immediately at no cost to you.
